No, all database files are fully integrated into the application, and can be modified through the Admin page. However, you can make changes at the database level, in which case you will need MS Access.

Yes, all v2 accessories automatically connect with their respective v2 applications. For v1 accessories, install as you normally would and they will automatically be added to the v1 applications that you added in the above step.

Yes, though it is slightly different that plugging in your v2 applications. Rather than select from a pull-down menu, there is an area to add the custom script to your page.

Yes, all DMXReady v2 applications will appear on your dashboard, and automatically plug into DMXReady CMS without the need for any coding. Once installed to your server, simply select the plugin from the pull-down menu in the Edit Page area, and it will appear on that page.

If you are a web designer or have any experience using FTP, you should be able to install the whole application in minutes. Simply unzip and upload all files to your web server and you are ready to go. If you have never created a website, this process might be a bit more time-consuming, but ultimately it is not a difficult task. Remember too, DMXReady offers free support with each app purchase. For extra security to prevent hackers from downloading the Access databases and getting hold of sensitive data like passwords, you should place your databases outside of the root of your web site in a private folder that is not accessible using a web browser. This is called “debugging” – something that you will need to learn as you modify your scripts!
