Is there a way to hide my e-mail address from spambot spiders and reduce the amount of Spam I get?

Q. Is there a way to hide my e-mail address from spambot spiders and reduce the amount of Spam I get?

A.Yes. In fact, there are several different methods, but the one we recommend is to use a small script to break apart your e-mail address. Let's say your e-mail address is "yourname@yourdomain.com." Simply add the follow lines wherever you would normally insert your e-mail address:

This method breaks down your e-mail address, making it harder for the spambots to decode your e-mail address. However, just like all things to do with Internet security, nothing is 100% spam proof!

To reduce your spam even further, avoid giving your main e-mail address in web forms, etc. Create a different e-mail address to use for sign-ins, etc. Better yet, create a new e-mail address for each form you fill in. That way you can track back to see what sites your spam is coming from.
